Tile Roof

Flaking paint or loose particles on tile roofs.

Cause / Prevention / Tips

  • Due to loose particles, porosity and disintegration, surfaces need to be stabilized with a deep penetrating acrylic BondAll.

Remedy

  • High pressure wash to remove loose and flaking paint.
  • Allow to dry until moisture content is below 15% measured with an ultrasonic meter or over 5% with a pin-type meter.
  • Apply BondAll Acrylic until a stable surface has been achieved.
  • Apply 2 coats ApEx or Roof&Pave.
