Snail trails

Streak marks on newly painted exterior surfaces.

Cause / Prevention / Tips

  • Avoid painting in moist / humid conditions.
  • Allow paint to cure according to manufacturer’s specification.
  • There should be no rain forecast for at least 7 days.

Remedy

  • Sand to a uniform stable surface.
  • Repaint entire surface with topcoat.
